Effective Date: October 17, 2023

In the context elaborated hereinafter, this Confidentiality Protocol applies to the application known as "App" (referred to as the "App"). Its primary objective is to acquaint users with the operations carried out by the App and to elucidate the data assimilated by the application.

Revelation

The App's operator functions neither as a creditor nor as an intermediary. Instead, the App offers loan connection services to users, abstaining from involvement in any credit or financial judgments. It securely transmits the information provided by users to third-party lenders who, in turn, determine the Annual Percentage Rate (APR), fees, and other prerequisites for loans.

The Information Gathered by the App

The App accumulates data categorized into two distinct types: personally identifiable information, which can pinpoint a specific individual, and non-personally identifiable data, comprising anonymous information that lacks the capacity to be associated with any singular person.

Personally identifiable information is amassed when users submit online forms to solicit loans from lenders within the network. This information encompasses particulars such as your nomenclature, residence, contact number, Social Security Number (SSN), electronic mail address, date of birth, driver's license number, residency status, occupational particulars, remuneration amounts and frequencies, details regarding home ownership, and bank account credentials.

Non-personally identifiable data is procured through third-party tracking systems or directly through the deployment of "cookies." Illustrative examples include a user's IP address, web browser type, time of access, linguistic preferences, clickstream data, and the segments of the App accessed by the user.

Cookies represent fragments of data dispatched by a website to a user's computing device during online navigation. Their principal purpose is to remember the user's presence without the need for explicit identification.

For analytical purposes and the observation of trends, non-personally identifiable data may be communicated to suppliers and other third-party entities.

Third parties, notably lenders and promotional affiliates, may be granted permission to advertise their offerings on the App. Cookies or alternative technologies may be employed by these third-party entities to trail user engagement with their promotional content. It should be noted that the App abstains from disseminating Personally Identifiable Information (PII) to these external parties.

How does the application employ personally identifiable information?

The App may accrue PII for the facilitation of the services requested by users. Personal data provided by users via the registration form is shared with affiliated lenders operating within the network.

This sharing enables dispute resolution, the resolution of technical issues, or the enforcement of contractual agreements. The utilization of PII is confined to what is deemed essential for service provision.

Upon furnishing personally identifiable information, users must acknowledge the possibility of its sharing with reputable third parties (in conformity with applicable laws), including direct financial service providers affiliated with the App.

Such data may be disclosed for marketing and advertising purposes that are deemed pertinent to the user. The App maintains the prerogative to divulge, barter, or otherwise unveil user data to third-party entities.

It is imperative to underline that the App's operator does not possess access to the information supplied by users through the registration form. All credit requests submitted by users are transmitted in a secure manner to reliable direct lenders operating within the online network.

Through the concession of PII, users empower their partner lenders to initiate contact concerning loan solicitations and processing. As a consequence, applicants renounce their entitlement to file grievances related to these interactions with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) or any other regulatory body.

Sharing of personally identifiable information

The App's services are extended by third parties. To ensure a superior standard of service, the App may distribute your information to these third-party entities. Additionally, personal data may be communicated to participating lenders, affiliates, and assignees as necessitated by circumstances.

Other third parties adhere to their individual privacy policies that delineate the modalities of PII utilization and/or disclosure.

In response to legal directives such as court orders, subpoenas, or analogous investigative appeals, collaborative inquiries from law enforcement agencies or government authorities, the establishment or enforcement of legal rights, the safeguarding of legal claims, or as mandated by the law, the App divulges PII.

PII may also be disclosed when the objective is to probe, preclude, or act against illegal activities, suspected fraudulent behavior, or other transgressions, or to secure and protect the rights, assets, or well-being of the parent corporation, its personnel, site users, or others, or to enforce the Terms and Conditions or other governing agreements or policies.

Declination

By default, when users furnish PII, they opt-in. In instances of outreach by third parties, users maintain the prerogative to reject any ensuing communications.

Alternative Resources

The App may include links or direct redirections to third-party resources not encompassed by this Confidentiality Protocol. For comprehensive information, it is advisable to consult the terms of service and the privacy policy of the resources accessed, given that the App does not oversee or administer them.

Modifications

The policy, content, information, promotions, disclosures, disclaimers, and functions of the App are susceptible to alteration, amendment, update, and/or modification at any juncture and without prior notification, subject to the sole and unmitigated discretion of the App.

Privacy of Minors

This application is not intended for utilization by individuals below the age of 18 or below the age of majority in their respective jurisdiction. The App does not knowingly amass Personally Identifiable Information from individuals under the age of 18.

Security

The App deploys advanced security mechanisms to guard against the unauthorized use, access, and/or disclosure of user information. When transmitting data to creditors over the internet, it is fortified by Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption.

Privacy Rights of California Residents

Companies collecting Personally Identifiable Information from California residents and sharing such information with third parties, including affiliated entities, for promotional purposes, are obliged to respond to consumer requests with one of two alternatives.

They must either (1) furnish a catalog delineating the categories of information disclosed to third parties and the entities to which such information was divulged, or (2) provide a mechanism for consumers to opt out of the dissemination of their information to third parties. You can opt out from receiving marketing materials directly via postal mail.

Furthermore, California residents have the right to be informed that they can lodge complaints and grievances with the California Department of Consumer Affairs, located at 400 R Street, Suite 1080, Sacramento, CA 95814.
